Today I am giving a deep bow of respect to the women that descended into the darkness with me at last nights grief tending ceremony.

It takes true courage to go to these depths, to meet the parts that have been exiled through fear or shame, and to allow them to express moments, years and lifetimes, of repressed grief, rage, despair, fear and shame.

It takes courage to be messy, to screw up your face, to growl, to scream, to cry, to wail, to shake, to thump your fists.

Especially for women, it takes true courage to not be the pretty, quiet little girl that society expects and rewards.

And instead to be everything that women have been programmed not to be.

It takes courage to go to the hurt parts of ourselves and to truly allow ourselves to feel and release.

To tend.

With Love.

And not with judgement.

When our dark emotions and dark parts of us are not tended to, they can become distorted and express themselves in unconscious and damaging ways.

Bitterness, resentment, judgement, projection, control, revenge, violence etc. Disconnection.

When we do tend to our dark emotions, when we can hold all that we are and all that we have lived through with love and compassion, when we allow our hearts to crack open…..

We let more light in ✨

And with this light comes connection.

With this light comes an expansion of human emotion. We get to experience a wider spectrum of consciousness. We get to experience joy, bliss, gratitude, awe and wonder.

I truly honour the Sisters that did the work of alchemy last night. That tended to themselves, and allowed themselves to crack open…….
and let the light in ✨

I was having a conversation with my children recen

I was having a conversation with my children recently about what it’s like for me when I’m deep into my moontime.

*Stay with me men, I’m not dancing in my undies this time but this is useful info ☺️*

My wish is that my children learn about the cycle that a woman goes through each month; for my daughter to understand what to expect for herself (and to honour her changing needs) and for my son to learn how to support a woman throughout her cycle.

So I am very open about menstruation. There is no shame and it is normalised as it ought to be.

This photo is what I look like to them some months. This is what they see. I don’t try to hide what I experience. I show them that I own what I’m experiencing, that I have extra needs at this time and I prioritise meeting these needs unapologetically.

They understand my need for silence and solitude, that I will withdraw myself and be less responsive, and that is NOT because I have stopped loving them.

They understand my grumpiness is because I am in pain and exhausted, and is not because THEY have done anything wrong.

And with this understanding comes acceptance and care.

I was describing to them what it can feel like for me. I told them it’s like being abruptly woken up at 3am, pulled out of bed, put into a brightly lit room, being poked and having hundreds of questions asked whilst I’m in this sleepy state. Even just one request can feel this intrusive when I am deep in my womb cave.

My son said “oh god, that’s horrible. I’d hate that!”

Imagine it, all men reading this and imagine it! It is no surprise that at times you are met with wrath 😝.
Hint: the wrath is immediately calmed with chocolate and cuddles.

I spent so many years pretending my cycle didn’t exist. Trying to adhere to societies expectation for a woman to present the same, to be productive, no matter where she is in her cycle.

It’s so detrimental & dishonouring.

Gone are those days! I am cyclical, not linear. There are some weeks where I will get a superhuman amount of work done, and other weeks where I literally resemble a sloth!

It’s all good. It has to be all good now. Once we honour ourselves, others will too 🩸 #divinefeminine #period

I didn’t shelter from the wind. First I let it blow my body around and I danced and twirled with great delight.

Then I faced into it.

I stood still, with my feet rooted into the earth and I asked the wind to blow through my body, like it blows through the fissures of these granite rocks.

I asked to become like the wind moving through these lands, stirring up all that is hanging on but is no longer needed.

I asked the wind to blow out the fears and the distortions that were clouding my judgement.

It blew with mighty force, until my pain was revealed. The pain that sits beneath the fear and the judgement.

And I dropped into the earth. I compressed my body between these rocks, as if inside the mothers womb.

I surrendered my holding and my control; my mind.

And I felt my pain. I felt the tears of grief roll down my face, kissing every cell of my body with Love.

With this, Mama Gaia spoke her wisdom.

With this, Papa Sky illuminated the truth.

With this, I was bought back to the knowing that sits within my Soul.

I’m often told by people that I am full of light, that I am shining, that I am glowing, that they can see my Soul.

In this video I share with you why it is that my light is shining through.
✨
My light is shining because I lovingly tend to my darkness, to my density, to my stuck emotions.

I welcome rage like I welcome happiness; I understand that it is energy that needs to be processed, felt and expressed.

With the power of breath (wimhof breathing technique), I allow the rage to surge through my body like a forest fire, to scorch through to the edges of my skin. To be totally felt.

I welcome and allow. I do not fear my rage.

Then I consciously draw it up through me with the breath and I release with the power of sound.

When I really allow myself to feel my rage, to honour its existence with no judgement and to SAFELY express it; I reignite the flow of energy through my vessel.

When I do this, I MAKE ROOM for my Soul light. I MAKE ROOM for it to expand, as it does every time. As a result, I can hold even more light.

Often expressing rage is a gateway to grief, to the flow of tears. I have often wailed after a rage release, I have fully surrendered to the grief in my tender heart.

And this is where the repair and the healing really starts to happen; in the witnessing, the allowing, the holding, the presence of Love.

When my Solstice plans get cancelled and my moon bleed comes early, sooooooo I find myself free-bleeding at the centre of a crop circle 🤩.

I love when this happens, when my carefully laid out plans get changed by the movements of other people or that of nature and her ways.

I experience less disappointment when changes like this happen these days, because I know it means I am being guided into something else.

And so I was guided to bless and anchor the intentions of this crop circle. Whether it was created by man, or the cosmos, or the cosmos through man; the symbol of trinity or the triad is one I feel aligned to.

For me, the sacred trinity is about honouring the beautiful relationship between the Father, the Mother and the Child, how they are all held in the circle of unity and infinity, how they dance together in their creation.

I see myself as part of that trinity. I see my time here in this human vessel, as being a child of the sacred union between mother and father, earth and sky, masculine and feminine, universal light and dark.

I see myself, specifically my heart, as being a centre point where these polarities can meet and express their union, where divine essence can be actualised and made conscious in the physical realm.

Another layer of the trinity being about life, death and rebirth. I honour the necessity of these universal cycles, but again, they are being held within the circle of unity and infinity, within oneness and eternal life.

Yes, this magical woman does need ANOTHER drum! 😉

I’ve had my 16in deer medicine drum for nearly two years now, crafted with my own intentions and by my own hands, made possible by the expert help of Dorrie. Every single part of this drum is symbolic and I made it to drum myself and my family through the huge transition that my soul knew was coming (although my ego thought it was for something else).

It accompanies me to the forest, to circles, to festivals. It has bought it’s magic to every ritual and ceremony that I have undertaken along my soul journey. It has bought me deep deep healing.

About six months ago I signed up to an online drum academy to learn the art of hand tapping. So I ordered a 22in goat frame drum but it was way too big and deep sounding. It became the healing drum that I play to assist my clients throughout our journey’s together. My soul knew I needed this drum to assist my work (it was my ego that thought it was for something else).

It stays in my healing space. It’s special for the beautiful soul’s that come to me for healing; to move stuck energy, to release what needs to be released, to bring in what needs to be bought in.

And now I have this 14in fyberskyn drum that is light and high sounding, perfect for hand tapping! I wonder what my soul called this in for and where it will go?

I feel so incredibly thankful for this beautiful sunny weather.

It means I get to do one of my top favourite things in the whole world which is being naked outdoors.

I’m a highly sensitive and sensual person so feeling the breeze and the sun’s warmth caress my skin is sensation heaven! Yoni sun bathing was particularly blissful.

He knew what it was about. He knew about the suffering we cause ourselves when we try to cling to something that is impermanent.

Through my process of expansion, I come to blocks, I come to things that challenge me and my initial reaction is still sometimes fear.

And when I am in fear I reach for safety, and when I reach for safety I try to control, and when I try to control I suffer.

I harden, I push against, I force. I become exhausted!

I fall into the trap of holding on to something that is fleeting and impermanent, and I suffer.

As most things in existence are impermanent, the mastery is about knowing when to surrender and let go.

It’s knowing when a person, place or situation has served its purpose in my life and is no longer beneficial for me.

It’s knowing when to loosen the grip and allow the flow of the universe to continue, as painful as this can be.

And it’s trusting that when I do let go and allow this flow, the result is more often the next level of my expansion. It’s the next level of receiving yet more love from the universe.

I open now, as a vessel for life to flow through.

I allow the universe to give me all that it wants to give me.

I surrender myself to Spirit once more

How blessed I feel, to bathe myself in such purity, to drink and have this crystal clear water revitalise and nourish my tired body.

We stayed for a while, my daughter picked wild garlic and enjoyed watching it float and then cascade down the water.

I sang to the spring and basked in her healing energy, giving thanks for the Earth’s sacred waters.

This week my body has been depressed. It has been

This week my body has been depressed. It has been aching, in pain, tired and heavy. My speech has been slow, my movements have been slow.

And I got lost in my head for a while, thinking there was something wrong with me and that I have to DO something to fix it.

But there was nothing I could DO. I had no energy to DO. I needed to BE, to surrender to my body. Instead of fighting against this physical collapse I let it happen to its fullest.

I curled up and let myself die to it, to become so still and so quiet. No interactions with anyone, no needs to be met by another. Full surrender and connection with myself.

It occurred to me, that depressed actually means “deep rest”. There is only so much that I can demand of my body before it demands depression in return, before it demands deep rest in return.

I broke the belief that my body being tired and needing deep rest is wrong, and affirmed that it’s ok to allow my body to be depressed.

At these times of intense energetic shifts, of upgrades, of processing / alchemising old patterns and blocks, it’s no wonder the physical body needs time to adjust. And it will be the slowest of the body’s (emotional, mental, physical, spiritual) to adjust because it’s the densest.

Today I found the energy to walk in the forest. And right in my path, hanging over and completely unavoidable, was this beautiful, blossoming Hawthorn.

Hawthorn has been one of my greatest plant allies, ever since she called me from across fair field at the bottom of Glastonbury Tor, beckoning me to bask in her exquisite energy.

She brings me to my heart, she reminds me of the strength I hold in my softness, my kindness and my compassion. And her abundant, generous, full-heart-blowing-open energy is a reminder that I must give this to myself, as well as to others.

Breathing in her sweet scent brings me home to my heart and soothes my soul.

Oh mercury retrograde, how I love / loathe you!

You pull me back and ask me to revisit my old patterns and insecurities. You ask me to go through them with a fine comb and tease out the last little knots.

You ask me to visit another layer, to reflect and see from another angle. To gain a deeper understanding of the whole. To further forgive and release myself from the beliefs that bind me.

You beckon me to make a choice; to let myself revert back and be swallowed by previous distortions, or to anchor my soul even deeper into embodied presence and the truth of my divinity.

My choice is to put my bare feet on the Earth, to have the water flow over my hands and let the sun bathe my face, so that I may remember where I am and who I am.

My choice is to keep finding gold in the shadows.

My choice is to deepen into mastery of myself as an alchemist.

So be it.

When I forgive myself for all my wrongdoings, I am not saying that the harm I created is ok.

I am fore-giving or fore-going the attachment to this karma and the entrenched beliefs and patterns that created it.

I am saying that I will no longer be bound by shame and guilt, that I will no longer create more harm by living from this place.

I am saying that I remember my divinity and that this is the place I choose to live and create from.

When I forgive others for their wrongdoings, I am not saying that the harm they created is ok.

I am fore-giving or fore-going attachment to their karma and the entrenched beliefs and patterns that created it.

I am saying that I will no longer reject them for acting from their unconscious programming, their ignorance, their buried pain and unresolved karma. I will no longer push them further into this with my judgment.

I am saying that I remember their divinity and that they have the potential to live and create from this place.
